Rick grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, and earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wheaton College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from Oral Roberts University. After law school, Rick practiced oil and gas law in Oklahoma before going on to graduate summa cum laude from Regent University with a master’s degree in public policy.

Rick has been an attorney for more than 20 years and a personal injury lawyer with Skolrood Law Firm for nearly 14 years. He focuses on car accidents, trucking accidents, and motorcycle accidents. He is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and Virginia. In addition to practicing law, he served as an adjunct professor at Regent University in 1993 and 1994.

In his spare time, Rick enjoys running, watching sports, and hunting.
